GIS DAY AT THE CAPITOL

GIS Day at the Capitol provides an excellent opportunity to educate the Legislators of Oklahoma about GIS technology and how it is being used as a decision making tool throughout the state.  The event also gives the GIS community a rare look at how the state and local agencies in Oklahoma are using GIS technology as well as the opportunity to visit with the GIS staff that produces the projects.  Last year, over 45 exhibitors set up their displays around the Capitol rotunda and we hope to make the 2010 event even bigger and better.   We will once again be hosting the event on two floors to allow both public and private agencies to participate in this unique event.   The public agencies will be on the 4th floor while the private agencies will be on the 2nd floor.

Space is limited for both public and private agencies so if you are interested in participating please fill out the attached form and either email or fax it to me as soon as possible.  The spots will be filled on a first come basis.

This event is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.  Even if you are not planning on exhibiting your latest project, make plans to come and see what other exhibitors have been doing. It is an excellent opportunity to see what is going on in the world of GIS within the state of Oklahoma.

If you have any questions please feel free to email:
Shellie Willoughby

Please be sure to call event host, before planning on attending, to confirm status of event, such as date, time, and location.
