Position Summary 

Entry Level position that will be responsible for digitizing hazards from imagery

 

Position Responsibilities:

Reporting of weekly mapping updates

Performs routine and complex technical drafting/mapping for visual aid

Helps create maps using various data and projections

Must have knowledge and adhere to all safety policies

Other duties as assigned

           

Essential skills and experience: 

ArcGIS experience

Understanding of Projections

Strong computer skills

ESRI Geodatabases

Attention to detail

Some travel may be required

Must have and maintain a good driving record

Must be able to multitask and handle several projects simultaneously

Strong commitment to company values

 

Physical demands and work environment:

Position requires mobility to work outdoors as well as indoors in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.  Requires ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.  Requires ability to read printed materials, and ability to communicate in person and over the phone.  In addition, the work environment noise level is typically at a moderate level.
