General Abstract Submittal Guidelines

  • Conference registration is REQUIRED
  • Abstracts are required for Map Posters in Map Gallery, User Presentations, and Exhibitor Showcases
  • Please specify abstract type submitted: Map Gallery, User Presentation, or Exhibitor Showcase
  • Submittals must adhere to following the Abstract Submittal Guidelines in order to be considered for acceptance
  • Questions concerning abstracts may be directed to

Map Poster Abstract Submittal Guidelines

  • Conference registration is REQUIRED
  • Due no later than March 11, 2019
  • All entrants are asked to supply a .pdf of their poster for inclusion on the SCAUG conference website by Monday, April 15, 2019
  • Map Posters must be submitted at the Registration Desk by Tuesday, April 23 no later than 2pm 
  • Map Posters must be printed no larger than 34” x 44” and mounted (easels provided)  
  • Map Posters must be picked up at the Registration Desk by Friday, April 26 no later than 9:00 am. Any posters left after that time will be recycled
  • Award given for Best in Show Map Poster as voted on by the conference attendees and will be announced in the Exhibitor Hall on Wednesday, April 24 between 2pm and 3pm 
  • Any map marketing or promoting a product can NOT be submitted. The Board has the right to remove any map from the map gallery that is viewed as such
User Presentation Abstract Submittal Guidelines

Exhibitor Showcase Abstract Submittal Guidelines

  • Exhibit Hall Conference Registration is REQUIRED
  • Limited to (1) 30-minute showcase per company
  • Due no later than March 11, 2019
  • First-come, first-served

GISP Point Earnings

  • Present at conference - CON 1 point
  • Display map poster at conference - CON 1 point
  • Place in Map Gallery - CON 2 points
