Director of E9-1-1 Services

The South Western Oklahoma Development Authority (SWODA) seeks a qualified individual to fill the position of Director of E9-1-1 services.
 
Requirements:
 
The Director should have a working knowledge of emergency communications equipment, including, but not limited to, public-safety answering point (PSAP) operation, 9-1-1 telephone systems, IT systems and networks, two-way radio systems, audio recording equipment, computer aided dispatching software, and geographical information systems (GIS). Good communications skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders served by SWODA are essential.
 
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
Two years or more of hands-on GIS experience using ESRI software is preferred.
Specialized experience and skills or applied technology in related field, in some cases, may be considered.
