Grand Gateway EDA is accepting resumes for a full-time Regional Services Specialist to develop and administer economic and community development programs, provide technical assistance, conduct data collection and analysis, and engage in project planning and grant applications for and with local governments in the region. The successful candidate will maintain working knowledge of all US Department of Commerce Economic Development Programs and all Oklahoma Department of Commerce programs in order to successfully administer grants at the organizational level and for local governments.  Written and oral communications are a key component as this position requires regular contact with representatives of local, state and federal government agencies, policy and/or advisory committees, consultants and other public and private organizations in the region.  Additional duties include the design and presentation or surveys and studies of the region’s geographic, demographic and economic characteristics, development of significant regional plans in specific subject areas by analyzing data and assessing needs, and other duties as may be assigned.  Some travel will be required. Eligible candidates will have a minimum of five years in a related field with a high school graduation or equivalent, or at least two years’ experience in a related field with a bachelor’s degree also in a related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Salary will be $36,000 to $42,000 annually. Grand Gateway is an equal opportunity employer.
