ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS 

Abstract submissions are open. We invite you to propose a user presentation or an exhibitor showcase.

Deadline for Submissions are March 5, 2025

Presentations will be 30 minutes in length

General Abstract Submittal Guidelines

  • Conference registration is REQUIRED
  • Abstracts are required for Map Posters  and Apps in Map Gallery, User Presentations, and Exhibitor Showcases
  • Submittals must adhere to following the Abstract Submittal Guidelines in order to be considered for acceptance
  • Questions concerning abstracts may be directed to secretary@scaug.org

Map Poster Abstract Submittal Guidelines

  • Conference registration is REQUIRED
  • All entrants are asked to supply a .pdf of their poster for inclusion on the SCAUG conference website
  • Map Posters must be submitted at the Registration Desk by Wednesday, April 15 no later than Noon
  • Map Posters must be printed no larger than 34” x 44” and mounted (easels provided)  
  • Map Posters must be picked up at the Registration Desk by Thursday, April 15 no later than 5pm. Any posters left after that time will be recycled
  • Any map marketing or promoting a product can NOT be submitted. The Board has the right to remove any map from the map gallery that is viewed as such
User Presentation Abstract Submittal Guidelines
  • Conference Registration is REQUIRED
  • Presentations will be 30 minutes in length
  • Due no later than March 5, 2025

Exhibitor Showcase Abstract Submittal Guidelines

  • Exhibit Hall Conference Registration is REQUIRED
  • Limited to (1) 30-minute showcase per company
  • Due no later than March 5, 2025
  • First-come, first-served

GISP Point Earnings

  • Present at conference - CON 1 point
  • Display map poster at conference - CON 1 point
  • Place in Map Gallery - CON 2 points
