PRESENTING:

a brand new way to participate...

SUBJECT MATTER LEARNING LABS

This year, we're shaking things up! Not only are we maximizing our time in Metro Tech's beautiful large meeting rooms (the Main Hall and the Auditorium), we have also reimagined last year's presentation rooms. This year, we are proud to debut a brand-new way to learn: the Subject Matter Learning Labs (SMaLLs)!

The Subject Matter Learning Labs will be collaborative come-and-go spaces in which Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) make themselves available for questions about their favorite GIS topics. These are NOT presentations. These are #ama #irl (Ask Me Anything, In Real Life!) ephemeral help desks, filled with birds-of-a-feather eager to get deep in the weeds of their favorite GIS subjects.

We're looking for 16 Subject Matter Experts to help us make this new initiative a success!
SMEs must be comfortable answering questions for up to 45 minutes about at least one specific topic. All SMaLLs are equipped with a Smartboard with laptop hookup. The SME can hook up a laptop to the Smartboard if they wish, but they do not have to.
