GIS Day 2023
Stephen F. Austin State University
East Texas GIS & GPS User Group
Friday, November 10, Forestry Building, Rm 117
Sign Up Now!!!
For those familiar with the SFASU campus, plans are underway to replace the SFASU Forestry Building, so this will be the last chance to attend GIS Day in the current SFA Forestry Building! We'll even be taking a last group photo (likely by drone) with the building before it's demolished, so please make plans to attend.
You can look forward to a keynote Geospatial Archaeology: LiDAR for Hidden Feature Identification in a Forested Environment, by Jeff Williams, a Landscape Archaeologist, along with a number of presentations from area GIS professionals and SFASU students, as well as plenty of networking opportunities and some good food... so there's really no reason not to sign up now!
Registration is FREE, but we do ask you please RSVP so we can plan for the right number of attendees! You can RSVP and view all the event details at https://guestli.st/760494
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the event, and we look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
