ArcGIS Basics III
This class is an advanced continuation of the ArcGIS Basics I & II classes where concepts of fundamental mapping skills & practices are build on. Advanced polygon editing, advanced analysis, in depth geodatabase applications along with a detailed look into ArcToolbox are at the core of this class . Applications with the available census data will be worked with along with other variations of data sourcing. The overall class will be very project oriented so each step has a direct purpose, process & result to teach the fundamentals of advanced editing and analysis in ArcGIS.
The course is taught by Pamela Jurney, GISP.
Pamela has an extensive background in education as well as GIS experience.
She taught secondary mathematics for seven years in the public school system, received a master’s of geography from Oklahoma State University (2006), and has been involved with GIS education for rural schools and tribal and local governments.
She is currently the Project Development Director for Cross Timbers Consulting
