ArcGIS Online helps organizations increase the value of their GIS content by making it more broadly available, enabling individuals and teams to do their work better and faster. This workshop will start by briefly introducing organizational site administration. We will spend the majority of our time adding content and creating information products.  We will also create and embed a mapping application that is hosted in ArcGIS Online.

This is a hands on workshop.

  • 20 laptops will be available for the attendees to use.

  • These laptops will be available on a first come basis. If you have a laptop, please bring it with you, to allow others that don't have a laptop the opportunity of accessing a laptop.

  • Please bring a notepad and a pen or pencil to take down notes and or information.

We are also asking that you bring a zipped up shapefile of a data set and know your rest end point if you have access to ArcGIS for Server. (ie., yourserver:6030/arcgis/rest/services).
