URISA Texas and SCAUG are proud to present our first ever joint
Geocaching Event
Join us on March 27th at Winfrey Point, White Rock Lake in Dallas from 10 am - 2 pm for a family fun, socially distanced, geocaching day, rain or shine. Furry friends are welcome!
Each Geocache location will reveal a geospatial trivia question, the answers of which will allow you to uncover a secret word. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the team or individual who correctly uncovers the word in the fastest time! We will be using Survey 123 for the game so please have this preloaded on your phones, help will be available at check-in if needed.
The game will be scored based on everyone's individual start and end times, so you can come and go as you please. Prizes will be mailed to winners. Winners will be announced within the week.
1st Place: $100 gift card
2nd Place: $50 gift card
3rd Place: $25 gift card
We are limiting the event to 50 people in order to help with social distancing as the area around White Rock Lake is extremely popular and can become crowded on weekends. Sign up early!! There will be a wait list should the event fill up.
